ARIU hosted a Rare Disease Conference 2023

The conference was aimed at providing a platform for in-depth discussions on rare diseases and their impact on individuals and society.
Rare diseases are medical conditions that affect a small number of people, typically fewer than a million worldwide. Despite their rarity, these diseases can be devastating for individuals and families who are affected by them. Research into the prevention, cure, and treatment of rare diseases is essential, but it can be challenging due to their low prevalence and complexity.

The event featured presentations from the Vice-Chancellor, professors, and students of ARIU, who shared their insights and knowledge on rare diseases across the world.
The conference emphasized the need for increased awareness, research, and collaboration in the field of rare diseases to improve the quality of life of those affected by them. The event also provided an opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas among medical professionals and experts from different parts of the world.
Overall, the Rare Disease Conference 2023 at Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University was a significant step towards advancing research, increasing awareness, and improving the lives of those affected by rare diseases.
