Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University recently held a grand inauguration ceremony for its 3 new auditoriums on 1st September 2022 at 2:30 PM (Armenian Time).
The university invited the students to put forward their suggestions to name these auditoriums. After much deliberation, the university finalized 3 suggestions. The new auditoriums will be named after Hayk Mkrtich Derdzyan (Founder of ARIU), Swami Vivekananda (Indian scholar, philosopher & visionary of modern India) and Amirdovlat Amasistsi (Renowned Physician & Writer of the 15th century).
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the warm presence of H.E. K.D. Dewal, Ambassador of India to Armenia & Georgia. The guests were welcomed by Dr Ashok Patel, Vice Chancellor. Various faculty members of the university like Dr Ananhit Antonyan, Vice-Rector, Dr Ashken Khachatryan, Dean of Medical Faculty, among others and also greeted his highness on the occasion.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, his excellency was also awarded certificates who have shown exemplary performance in arranging the various successful events at the university. Overall, the event concluded on a successful and memorable note. The university now has 3 more auditoriums in its vicinity for the students.
