Cultural Blast at ARIU- Cultural Fest 2024
The ARIU Annual Cultural Fest 2024 again showed Armenian-Russian International University’s (ARIU) conviction to promote cultural diversity and international unity. On November 20, 2024, students from different nationalities were present to join the event to showcase their heritage through music, dance, art, and cuisine.
Her Excellency Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha, India’s Ambassador to Armenia and Georgia, applauded ARIU’s efforts in promoting global harmony through cultural initiatives and expressed her praise. The importance of cultural exchange in promoting relationships between students with different backgrounds was illuminated by her so that their educational experience solidifies and makes it more enriching.
Vibrant Armenian musical collaborations and traditional Armenian dances, Bollywood inspired acts along with multicultural musical performances made a part of the event. Cultural booths with artifacts, traditional clothes, and traditional cuisine of each country were also set up by the students for the audience to experience the diversity in ARIU culture.
The Global Food Bazaar was a key attraction to the event because students prepared and served food from all kinds of cuisines, which meant everyone would have a taste of the richness available in different cultures through food. The awards ceremony closed out the event, during which the best cultural exhibits and performances were spotted and admired.
