Holi is a traditional Indian festival of colors. Therefore, for its Indian students, the university organized the Grand Celebration of the festival in its basketball area. The basketball area of Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University saw the celebration of Holi on 29th March 2021 at 2:00 PM (AST). Most of the students of the university participated in the celebration with a joyous and enthusiastic heart.
The celebration marked the presence of various prominent figures like that H.E. K.D. Dewal (Ambassador of India to Armenia and Georgia). H.E. Dewal celebrated the festival with the students of ARIU with extreme ardor and warmth. The celebration also featured the presence of Ms. A. Khachatryan (Dean of the University), Dr. Ashok Patel (Vice-Chancellor), Dr. Anahit Antonyan (Vice-Rector) among many others.
The event was filled with laughter and colors. The event also successfully fulfilled its aim to promote the international brotherhood between Armenia and India. The grand celebration of Holi in ARIU ended on a high note with the students and the chief guests going back with happy faces.
